Many people, though they love the Lord and do various works of service to the praise of God, regrettably continue to fail in their endeavors. Why is this? Aren’t Christians supposed to succeed since they serve a living God? Aren’t they supposed to know what to do since they are the light and have the light? Yes, you are right, but one of the main reasons why many people work so hard and never come to a comfort realm of financial breakthrough or excellence which makes them stand out among others is because they trust in their own might, power and knowledge, education, who they know, etc., but the bible says “… Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” – Zechariah 4:6 KJV
Recently I had the opportunity to listen to a man of God, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, who said, “to succeed, you must stop depending on your might and power and open up to the Holy Spirit of God,” according to the last part of the same scripture above.
Please be not so familiar with Jesus that He no longer has power to move wonderfully in your life anymore but if you are truly people of faith and begin to allow the anointing of the Holy Spirit to lead you, you will succeed.
Without the Holy Spirit you are blind. Whatsoever the Holy Spirit says to you, do it. Let Him guide you into success. The bible says, “He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.” – Prov. 28:26
When the anointing of the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you become unstoppable and mountains can no longer stand before you. Because Zerubbabel depended on the power of the Holy Spirit he was able to declare “Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” – Zech. 4:7
You cannot carry the anointing and fail, except you are disobedient to the Holy Spirit. As someone full of the Holy Spirit, you have all you need to succeed in life.
The master key to succeed in life is to always depend on the Holy Spirit as your leader. The secret of success is the Holy Spirit. Jesus is much more powerful than the way you are experiencing Him, you are the one preventing His wonders from manifesting by depending on your own strength. The way of success is this: “Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” – Prov. 37:3-7
