True prophets of God warn God’s people for Him and also show the way out of troubles once people repent. This is what they do; therefore if the servant of God warns you of your errors, do not harden your heart. He or she also has the job of declaring hope into your live as you make amends. Shown below is an example of conversations between Prophets of God and nations, people or individuals:
Oh ye land of Sugarusa, you have forsaken the Lord your God. You have taken prayer and the word of God out of your schools and have removed God’s commandments from people’s view in your public offices. You have prevented your children from learning the ways of God and have influenced other nations to do the same. Hear ye the word of the Lord; it is written, “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done” (Romans 1:28 NRSV). The Lord is a jealous God and He will bring upon you His wrath for the detestable things you have done. For one score years, He will bring troubles to the land and cause your children to stand against you – doing detestable things. Your peace will be removed from among you unless you repent.
If you turn to the Lord, He will turn to you. Remember the people of Nineveh, the prophet Jonah warned them: “Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s walk. And he cried out, “Forty days more, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” And the people of Nineveh believed God; they proclaimed a fast, and everyone, great and small, put on sackcloth.
When the news reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, removed his robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. Then he had a proclamation made in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: No human being or animal, no herd or flock, shall taste anything. They shall not feed, nor shall they drink water. Human beings and animals shall be covered with sackcloth, and they shall cry mightily to God. All shall turn from their evil ways and from the violence that is in their hands. Who knows? God may relent and change his mind; he may turn from his fierce anger, so that we do not perish. When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil ways, God changed his mind about the calamity that he had said he would bring upon them; and he did not do it” (Jonah 3:4-10 NRSV).
Hear, o people of Sugarusa: Because you and your leaders have sought the Lord your God and repented of your detestable ways, the Lord will turn to you and reveal His mercies over you. From all the kinds of pain you have been subjected to, you will rise and be delivered: from stagnancy, physical, financial, emotional, psychological and spiritual decay you will rise. I will cause my Spirit to breathe upon your land and children. Your people shall loath their old ways and return unto the Lord. Your children shall bless you and great shall be their peace. All those who cry saying, “Oh God, why me? Oh Lord have mercy,” shall indeed see the glory of the Lord.
Remember how your Messiah, Jesus Christ, was falsely accused, sentenced to be crucified, beaten, mocked, flogged and hung on the cross? His garments were divided and he was greatly mocked. They said to him as He was nailed to the tree, “You who would destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross” (Mat. 27:40 NRSV). He was in so much pain to the point that He “… cried with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Mat. 27:46 NRSV). Jesus succumbed to all in order to save you from your sins.
By the power of His words He overcame and rose from the dead. In Matt. 27:63 He is quoted as saying, “After three days I will arise.” Glory halleluiah, in Matt. 28:6 it is confirmed that indeed He arose. In Matt. 28:18 He proclaimed that All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him.
O ye people of Sugarusa, I speak forth God’s restoration into your homes and communities; you will experience the glory of the Lord. For those who say among you, “How is it possible for us to speak wellness when things are not really well?” I say unto you, God’s glory becomes possible to experience by invoking the word of God. Isa. 60:15 says although you have been forsaken and no one cared about you, but God will make you an eternal excellence. Feed on God’s faithfulness and say to yourself, “God will make me an eternal excellence.” Say to yourself “I will rise again and my nation will rise.” Say unto your family, “we shall not be consumed because of the mercies of God.”
I want you to know that though it seems as if you are forsaken, God is about to glorify you, as He did Jesus Christ. Before the bread was miraculously multiplied to feed many, it was first broken; before you become a blessing, you will first be broken. Before you become eternal excellence, you will first go through the process of being forsaken. It is easy now to call the GOD of Abraham, but Abraham had to go through issues first. Before Jesus could give life, He first had to die. But on His way to dying, although forsaken, He said I will rise. He said that this building will be destroyed but in three days it would be raised again.
As far as being forsaken, I know a rich man who was forsaken. Job is his name (Job 3:25-26) but during his problems he said in Job 13:15, “though he slay me, yet will I trust Him.” He proceeded to say, my enemies, do not rejoice over me, I shall rise again. Glory, halleluiah, he was restored. What you say during predicaments will determine your ultimate end.
I know some holy people who also had to experience the fiery furnace of life. At the time of their trouble, they said, “…our God whom we serve is able to deliver us…” (Dan. 3:17). What problem do you have, oh ye people of God? Have you devoted all your life to Christ and yet you are encountering problems? Speak deliverance to your life. Set yourself free with God’s words. In verse 26-29 the three Hebrew men were delivered without getting burnt and God was praised.
If you know of anyone, relative or friend, who is in trouble, speak goodness into his/her life. King Darius said to Daniel in chapter 6:16, “…Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” Glory halleluiah, in verse 21-22, Daniel was delivered. I say your deliverance is here in Jesus name. You will find justice in Jesus name.
Are you the woman who had lost your child to sudden death through disease, brutality or injustice? Justice, healing and restoration will come to you. The Shunammite woman’s son died (2 Kgs. 4:18-23, 35-37), but in her distress she proclaimed, “It is well.” Lo and behold, it became well with her – the son rose again.
Repeat after me, “I will rise again”; “It is well”; “God is with me”; “All that is broken shall be mended”; “Everything shall be in place for me.” Yes, right now, begin to locate your solution in the words of God. Begin to speak life into your situation.
Thank God for the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than the blood of Abel – Heb. 12:24. There is power in that blood. The power in the blood and the name of Jesus shall bring the promises of God to pass in your life. God said, although you were forsaken, He will restore you and make you become an eternal excellence. Speak excellence into your life and you will live. I congratulate you in advance. Jesus is working on your case already.
I close with that which is written in Romans 16:25-27, “Now to God who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but is now disclosed, and through the prophetic writings is made known to all the Gentiles, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever! Amen.
This is usually the voice of a prophet: He warns and declares the “not yet” of hope.
