Dear Reader, I am writing to inform and remind all Christians that, as co-heirs with Jesus, we have many rights made available to us to help live a successful and comfortable life here on earth – as shown in Ephesians 1:3-22.

The bible says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” – 1 Cor. 2:9 KJV

I believe it is the greatest news on earth to know and bring to your consciousness that we are children of God who are free from burdens and curses of the pit of hell. The Bible says we are children of God through faith in Christ Jesus, i.e., we have been united with Christ; glory to God. – Gal. 3:26. With this, it is necessary to ascertain that the world of Christianity is not only one where one’s life is devoted to holiness in Christ, but also one which involves the exercise of various rights and privileges.

Listed below are some of your rights as a believer:

  • You have the right to live and be treated as a special person and God’s treasured possession – 1 Peter 2:9; Deut. 14:2
  • You have the right to be called a child of God wherever you go – John 1:12
  • You have a right to peace and good health, because of the chastisement and stripes put upon Jesus – Isa. 53:5
  • You have the right to prosperity – because Jesus became poor in order for you to live in blessing – 2 Cor. 8:9
  • You have the right to open heavens, if you obey the principle of tithing – Mal. 3:10
  • You have the right to justification (as if you never sinned) – I Corinthians 6:9-11 & Rom. 5:9; salvation and glorification in Jesus – Rom. 8:30
  • You have the right to have your prayers answered by God and have you declare the works of God – 2 Chronicles 7:14
  • You get to live as an overcomer because the Christ in you is greater than he (the devil) that is in the world – 1 John 4:4
  • We have authority to trample over serpents and nothing shall harm us – Lk. 10:19
  • You automatically become a co-inheritor with Jesus Christ – Rom. 8:17
  • No one can claim superiority over you (Gal. 3:28)
  • You have the hope to see Jesus and be like Him when He comes to take His own – 1 John 3:2

If you are reading this article but have not given your life to Jesus, now is the time to do so. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior will automatically give you free access to God and your rights. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus – John 14:6

Now that you have been made fully aware of these and many other inexhaustible and endless rights of yours, I pray that you will begin to exercise those rights in Jesus. From today, go ahead and begin to live in dominion; it is your right. The bible states from the beginning that “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” – Genesis 1:28 (KJV).  Glory be to God.

As a Christian, do we have the right to do the things we do from Monday to Saturday on Sunday, meaning what should be done or what right have we on Sunday or probably give explanation on The Sabbath Sir

As Christians we have the right to do anything we want any day anytime, as long as they align with the will of God. The instruction we have from God is to keep Sabbath day holy – to worship Him and to rest our bodies. All other days are for work.

Jesus forbade buying and selling in the temple. Does that mean we should not buy nor sell even after Sunday service

Actually someone asked me the same question yesterday. I believe it is the heart with which people come to church. The church is not a selling place of things that do not partain to tools of worship or salvation; but I think such items as sermon cds, bibles and other christian materials may be sold after service. If other items are to be sold, it should be after service and the purpose of coming to church should not be to sell things but to worship.

If I am not seeing this correctly though, I pray for God’s mercy to help me understand and teach better.

      Thanks for asking.
